Happy New Year from Regenerate

There were several Christmas trips but one highlight was the visit to Flip Out in Wandsworth. The activity was a two-hour trampoline session including, basketball games, parkour apparatus, foam pit. Such trips are real opportunities for our young people to have fun and are often part of their Jack Petchy awards. Such awards are rewarded for continuous work in the community and success in activities.

The young people initiated their own games, for example they had a basketball dunking competition. They also tried flips into the foam pit.

Every summer Regenerate takes a team of young people to Romania to run summer camps for children and help with the building projects we support in Soard and the surrounding villages.

One village is being slowly rebuilt house by house and when Regenerate went back in October it was clear these projects needed a mode of transport to support all the amazing work that is going on in these communities. So Andy delivered a van in December  – donated by a wonderful Regenerate supporter – ram packed with clothes and toys. The drive took 3 days but was worth it!

Update on Get Leading Campaign

In December we launched our new fundraising campaign on Just giving – for the Get Leading group. We have already raised 16% of our target which is fantastic and means we can continue this exciting project.
