The line up is growing into an exciting mixture that will suit all ages – come along with a picnic and enjoy a fun fair, inflatables, food stalls, creative art activities, different music stages, a puppet show and interactive sports to name but a few!
New this year – Gramophone DJ Auntie Maureen
“Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels.” – Bob Thaves
Auntie cranks her 1930s gramophone, to dance to. In any shoe. Her first love will always be beats and grooves and melodies and nothing makes her more happy than putting the dance floor to work. Previously her vintage-inspired retro sounds have entertained at London Fashion Weekend, The Tweed Run, Tate Modern, The Candlelight Club and last summer she has wooed the dancing masses at The Red Lion E11, Camp Bestival, Wilderness Festival, Bestival and Meatopia. The Charleston, the Jitterbug, the Boogaloo, the Funky Chicken, the Electro-Swing, the Gitana Gypsy Mash-up and all sorts of festivalesque music fun in between are on the playlist so start polishing your knees because Auntie aims to cut a rug!
