Feel Good festival was a great success this year with hundreds of local families taking part. The sun was shining and the atmosphere was buzzing. There was live music from local artists, including Roehampton’s very own choir, a puppet show, DJ’s, an acoustic duo and solo artists. There were fairground rides and inflatables, pony rides, sports, circus skills training, creative workshops, delicious food for sale and much more for all ages to enjoy.
“I had a wonderful afternoon on Sunday it just gets better!! I thought the stage bus was very good I enjoyed the puppets. My daughter came down with her boys and they also had a good time particularly the bouncy castle slide and the fact they both won huge psychedelic balls which we had to squish into the car the atmosphere was brilliant and it was good opportunity to network.”
“We had a great day and it was a fantastic opportunity for our participants to give something back. The boxing sessions proved very popular, with us taking over 150 people on the pads. All of our team really enjoyed the event which had a great atmosphere, allowing everyone to mix with other providers and members of the public to enjoy the good vibe and contribute to demonstrating how much positivity there is in the local community.”
”This year’s Feel Good Festival was great. There were many people taking advantage of all the incredible workshops available. The Sports Zone manage to capture everyone’s attention with the flamboyant performances by the Bezerkaz Circus crew and also the Calisthenics classes lead by Tye and Jason. Both of these along with Boxing hosted by Carney’s made the Sports Zone really fun and really interactive.”
Jordan Gayle, Sports Zone Leader.
“The Feel Good Festival was a wonderful community day that attracted people of all ages to come together and participate in an afternoon of music and activities. I enjoyed being part of the team that worked hard to get this day off the ground – and thought the day was a great success. The children’s activities such as the puppet show and circus skills were very popular and brought in many families – and the overall friendly and relaxed atmosphere made the afternoon a special Roehampton occasion.”
