Christmas Festival – 3rd December.

Regenerate host another Christmas street party in Roehampton.

The purpose of the event was to run a Christmas gathering for the local community. Regenerate’s young people came together with volunteers, and the Get Leading and World Changer groups to create an afternoon of festive fun.

There were arts and crafts for young children, live music from resident DJ Lance, free toasties from The Feel Good Bakery, face painting, interactive gardening activities from the new Ashburton community garden and sports run by Jordan Gayle from Regenerate.

People from the community came out with delicious food offerings – wonderful homemade soup from Floriane, ( The Putney Food Assembly and Ashburton community garden)  as well as homemade cakes from Regenerate’s young people. Mince pies were kindly donated by Londis.

“We had a lovely time with all the kids, and the toasties and hot drinks kept us warm… Congratulations for putting on a lovely event and allowing us to help out and be a part of it! Can’t wait for future events”. Quote from an attendee.

A big thank-you to all who gave their time to make the event possible – especially the volunteers from Mission Direct.
